Need a boom-type Elevated Work Platform >11m License?
Elevated Work Platforms are used in many types of industries, boost your opportunities and get a Elevated Work Platform licence. Doesn’t matter if you have never been on one before, or have used one for many years, you are legally required to hold a high risk work license to operate one.
Who can do this course?
Boom-type elevating work platform means a telescoping device, hinged device, or articulated device, or any combination of these, used to support a platform on which personnel, equipment and materials may be elevated.
A person performing this work is required to hold a High Risk Work Licence (HRWL).
Any person 18 years and above with a basic understanding of English and mathematics and who can physically enter an Elevated Work Platform. A language, literacy and numeracy assessment may be conducted prior to training.
What to bring
A pen, small notepad, 100 points of ID, Your USI*, Safety Boots (joggers/ sneakers are unacceptable), Long sleeve shirt, Long pants, (tights are unacceptable), Sun and rain protection as required.
Specific licensing /regulatory requirements relating to
this competency, including requirements for refresher
training should be obtained from the relevant national/
state/territory Work Health and Safety Regulatory

Assessment is conducted by the below methods:
- Theory Questions
- Practical Set up & Driving Assessment
- Closed book test
On successful completion participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment with the following units:
- TLILIC0005 Licence to operate a boom-type Elevated Work Platform over 11m
